Onyx Systems builds and maintains a small portfolio of mobile and web products. We don’t take client work and we don’t outsource — every app in the portfolio is designed, built and supported by the same small team, end to end.
That means fewer products than a typical studio, each one owned completely. Sift and Orbit both work the same way: your data lives on your device by default, there’s no account to create, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you explicitly ask for it.
The person who ships a feature answers the support message about it. There's no hand-off to someone else to maintain — that loop is the whole studio.
No third-party trackers, no ad SDKs, data kept on-device wherever the product allows it. It shapes the architecture, not the marketing page.
We'd rather ship a handful of considered releases a year than forty forgettable ones. Every product here is still actively maintained.
